Thomas Sholar was awarded Maverick's Dedicated Driver of the Year in 2023.

Maverick Transportation announced Thomas Sholar from COA from Doddridge, AR as their June 2023 Dedicated Driver of the Month. Thomas has been driving with Maverick since 2003.

"Thomas is well-deserving of the DDOM award," said his account manger, Ashlee Wilson. "In addition to his other Maverick awards, Thomas is always looking out for other Maverick drivers. Everyone who knows Thomas likes him and knows that he is someone you can call to help you out, no matter what is needed."

2019

Maverick Transportation announced Tom Sholar of Doddridge, AR, as one of their 2019 Trainer Finalists. Sholar has been driving with Maverick since May 2003.

"Thomas is an excellent Trainer," said Fleet Manager Lou Shoults. "Thomas has trained 74 total students since he started training, and has had great retention with the 19 who are still at Maverick. He shows the trainees how to work hard and do things The Maverick Way.®"

2016

Maverick Transportation announced Tom Sholar of Doddridge, AR, as their Driver of the Month for June 2016. Sholar started his career at Maverick in May of 2003.

"Tom is very thorough when it comes to numbers," said Fleet Manager Rhonda Brignac. "He puts every effort forward to meet and beat expectations. He's trained many students, always with safety first."
