Maverick Transportation announced Melvin Avila of Houston, TX, as one of their 2024 Trainer Finalists. Avila has been a road trainer for 3 years.

"Melvin is one of the nicest people I have ever met," said his fleet manager, Troy Jackson. "He always has a smile on his face and is ready to give his all. He's always willing to help when asked without hesitation. He's been a road trainer for just over 3 years and has been a shining example of what a road trainer should be. Maverick Transportation announced Melvin Avila of Houston, TX as their Driver of the Month for May 2021. Avila has been driving with Maverick since 2020.

“Melvin is THE model driver for his division, and he’s going to be a great addition to the Drivers Advisory Council," said Fleet Manager Troy Jackson.
