Kurtis White

Maverick Transportation announced Kurtis White of Hopkinsville, KY, as their Driver of the Month for July 2014. White has been with Maverick for over a year and started his professional driving career at Maverick in February of 2013. He came to Maverick as a student.

"Kurtis was nominated for Driver of the Month because he has worked very hard and set himself apart from others," said Fleet Manager Morgan Forrest. "After working at Maverick for only one year, Kurtis expressed an interest to become a flatbed trainer. At this time, Kurtis has had two students and has done an excellent job. His desire to take on new challenges so soon in his Maverick career is what has impressed me the most about him. He is also a nice guy and gets along with everyone!"

The seventh recipient of twelve Drivers of the Month for 2014, White has proven himself a leader in the company's fleet. His favorite part of driving for Maverick is being treated as part of the family.
