Maverick Transportation announced Doug Randell of Longview, TX, as one of their 2025 Trainer Finalists. Randell has been a road trainer for 7 years.

"Doug is not only one of my most dependable road trainers, but also someone who is looking to lead by example by doing the right thing every day," said Account Manager Stacey Carson. "He is always willing to help when we reach out for feedback or have a new driver that has questions on specific customers on the account. He makes sure that his students and other new drivers have the support they need by lending an ear or a hand to someone who may be having a rough day. He brings an upbeat attitude to challenges and often has suggestions on how we can help improve the daily activities. Doug was recently nominated for an Highway Angel award, further showing his commitment of doing the right thing even when no one is looking and representing The Maverick Way®."

2021

Maverick Transportation announced Doug Randell from RTX from Longview, TX as their May 2021 Dedicated Driver of the Month. Randell has been driving with Maverick since 2016.

"Doug is a great driver and trainer for the RTX division," said Account Manager Adam Barnett. "He's always willing to help out and has been a great resource for drivers in the division who may have any issues, questions, or concerns. It definitely says something about his character when we consistently get calls in about how great of a trainer and driver Doug is.
